Persefone

Goddess

The beauty of humanity lies in between the pages of her memories.

Frightful warriors, too brave in life to put other’s guns into their own brother’s heads,

rest now within her for centuries.

Every star in the sky has each its own symphony,

made for her as the sweetest lullabies and cries of wisdom.

Lightning and unanswered questions to those who claim with their mouths full,

Sunshine and crashing waves to the ones that listen with open doors.

She is everything and nothing,

Beginning and end.

So pure and innocent, but strong in tears.

Forget the unknown faces, forgive her fears.

Confess your lies, and she will show you truth.

Be proud of your pain, she will guide you thru.

Mother of all,

Lover of mine,

Goddess of light,

My demon at night.

Love me today, while tomorrow is still far.
